In Math today we continued to explore units of measurement and ways in which we can measure length. Today we added metres to the list of units that we will be using. Students do need to be able to convert between mm, cm, and m. The chart below can help:

Tomorrow we will begin looking at measuring perimeter and area. 

In Science today, we learned more about pure substances and mixtures. We started by looking at mixtures more closely that we did yesterday:

In this unit, we will be looking at suspensions and solutions. In fact, we will be learning about a variety of the following mixtures:

- solid + solid
- solid + liquid
- liquid + liquid

as well as strategies for how to separate these mixtures.
