Wow! What a busy and AMAZING day! Thank you everyone for working so hard on your Science Fair projects. I can honestly say that this is one of the BEST classes of projects I have ever had. What really impressed me the most was that it was obvious that students were the ones that put in the majority of the work. Each student understood their topic and many of the boards were clearly made by students. How wonderful to see students' independence and creativity come out in these projects. Thank you parents for helping your students with these projects. I know they are a lot of work at home! Science Fair is such a rich and engaging learning experience within the classroom, but I definitely am aware of the amount of time and effort it takes to complete these projects. Thank you so much for helping your students to succeed. We have two more projects to be presented before I'll send home rubrics as well as the names of students moving on to the School Science Fair next week.

Honestly, Science Fair was basically our whole day today. We had our projects set up for an hour this morning and an hour this afternoon. We also had students come and view our projects from: Grade 1, 2, 3, and 6. We also went and looked at Ms. Dunkley's and Mr. Luccisano's (Timberlea's Grade 5 classes) projects. Finally, we had Phys. Ed and Music today as well. Tomorrow we are going to visit Mrs. Drover's and Mr. Rutledge's classes to view their projects and then Science Fair will be over for another year. Again, great work everyone.

Sorry I don't have more pictures of Science Fair! It was hard to take pictures while supervising and judging projects at the same time. I know Madame Wells and Mr. Thorne took pictures when they visited. I'll share their pictures with you at a later date.
